BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (01:42.986)
Hey, hey, there he is. So ladies and gentlemen, he does not need an introduction, but you know that face. It is world famous. Mr. Lincoln, 72 Kennedy. What's going on, my brother? How you doing?

Lincoln Kennedy (01:45.561)
What's happening? What's happening? What's happening? What's happening?

Lincoln Kennedy (01:52.135)
you

Lincoln Kennedy (01:59.239)
What's happening, my brothers? I'm doing wonderful, my brothers. How are you?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (02:01.61)
I'm good, I'm good. I'm good. But so once again, man, we can link it. go back, you know, a few years from filming that. What was it is a real estate commercial. Remember with the the Kansas would know it was a Kansas City, San Diego fan. Yeah, that was a link. It's debut as a kicker. Yeah, it was good times, man. Good times. I was like 15 years ago, something like that.

Lincoln Kennedy (02:15.559)
Right.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no doubt.

Hahaha

Lincoln Kennedy (02:30.343)
Oh my gosh, so long ago, I can't even remember, you know what mean? So it was all good, man, it was all good. Glad to be a part of it. Glad to be with you guys today. What's going on?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (02:34.642)
Yeah.

Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. So you haven't formally got introduced. Raider will meet Lincoln Kennedy, Lincoln Kennedy meet Raider will.

Lincoln Kennedy (02:47.259)
What's happening brother? Bless his mind. I'm doing well, how are you brother?

Raider Wil (02:48.077)
Salute! How are you, brother?

I'm doing well, actually. was just, you know, we were just introducing each other and stuff. And my wife was laughing because she so she showed me a picture of me being a fanboy and getting this hat signed by you in 2017. And she was like, hey, I remember that guy. She's like, you look like a little kid right next to him.

Lincoln Kennedy (03:08.187)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (03:13.767)
Well, you're not alone, Will. There's a lot of people that look small around you, so you're not alone with that,

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (03:14.674)
you

Raider Wil (03:21.337)
Absolutely brother, but thank you so much man and I'm like, thank you so much for coming on the show and being a part of this TBH adventure that we're doing in Sally Andrew and bringing back the black hole to Ricky's baby.

Lincoln Kennedy (03:33.639)
Well, it's long overdue, to be honest with you guys, it really is. Oakland was such a significant part of my life and my career, obviously. Coming out to the Raiders in 96 and just being a, you know, falling in love with the organization, falling in love with the fans. It was great people like you that really opened up your arms and made it feel like a family. And that's one thing that I'm proud to be a part of, the Raider Nation. it's worldwide. It's not just in Oakland, but Oakland is a heartbeat and always has been a heartbeat.

of the later nation and that's where it always remains.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (04:06.857)
Exactly. Couldn't agree with you more, Lincoln. Yeah, so I don't know if you know it officially yet, but I actually moved back from the Bay, from Vegas.

Lincoln Kennedy (04:15.611)
I didn't know that. No, I didn't know that.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (04:17.127)
Yeah, yeah, last month I made the move, came back, know, some personal family reasons. know, family's good, but, you know, needed to be home. So I came back and, you know, putting things together and what better way to kick it off? The black hole, coming back to Ricky's, other than to have you on board. So once again, thank you for doing that for not only the black hole, but Raider Nate.

Lincoln Kennedy (04:26.513)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (04:39.887)
Well, I'm humbled. Look, I'm humbled and I'm certainly appreciative of you guys attending the invitation to me. Anything I can do to help out the nation, I'm a part of, as you know. So I'm happy for you. If you're happy, welcome back to the Bay. And Will, you know I appreciate this first time we're chatting, so it's with you as well.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (04:49.789)
Thank you. yeah.

Raider Wil (04:57.687)
No, thank you so much brother. So this kind of leads me into my first question for you Lincoln. And I was talking to Cisco a little bit earlier. I'll be like, you've been such a force in Raider Nation, both on and off the field. What's it like being embraced by the fans long after you're playing?

Lincoln Kennedy (05:16.615)
It really is truly humbling. And the best way to describe it is I've only had the luxury of playing for two organizations. One would be line of thought because I was originally drafted by the United States. And their fan base was not owned by Arthur Blank like it is now. It wasn't as resilient and as thorough as the way their nation was. Coming out to Oakland, I saw what it meant to be part of a program. I saw what it meant to be part of an organization. I also saw what it meant to be a

professional family. And that just made me want to go all out in everything I do. I realized at the time of 2004 when I retired, I realized that I couldn't play football anymore. So I had to hang on my cleats. I didn't know what I was going to go into. When I fell into the media market, the opportunity came to work with the Raiders starting on the sideline. I full advantage of it. I I really did. I was humble. I worked with Tom Flores, he's a Hall of Famer, and Ed Lowe, know, great papa. We had some

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (06:13.572)
yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (06:16.231)
tremendously great shows together in station. But it was a way for me to give back to the fan base because I always felt that I sort of had the knack to really relate to the radio nation. Probably better than anyone else out there could who wasn't affiliated with the Who wasn't affiliated with the So it was a blessing for me to be welcomed back with open arms. But more importantly, since then, you know, I've been retired over 20 years now guys, and since then...

It feels like it did yesterday when I walked on that field in 1996. It feels like that one Raider Nation season. When I walked into the stadium, I'm going to do my thing and the Raider, we didn't have a leash. You know, there's so many things that have happened in the world, so many things that happened with this team over the last quarter of century since I've been away. It still feels like home. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not open, okay? And I'm to refute that, it's not open. It stays. It's a different animal altogether.

And I have to say this with a big play. You guys, Nation, makes me feel welcome no matter where I am. Be it Oakland, Tramdeless, Las Vegas, wherever it is. Because the Raider Nation is worldwide. We have an unbelievable draw no matter where you play. Raider Nation is going to turn up. And it's so humbling to be recognized as I'm walking through the crowd or I'm pending to my responsibility. It's so humbling to be recognized so many years after I hung up on my cleats.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (07:43.525)
Yeah, yes indeed.

Raider Wil (07:45.494)
Absolutely.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (07:49.733)
Well good. what we just before you jumped in Lincoln, we were going over Will and I were going over what's going to be happening on the 12th. So I'll just kind of recap that and then obviously, you know what's going on. for for the people that are listening, we're going to recap that. August, I mean July 12th, 1 to 7 p.m. We're going to be at the Raider Nation World Famous Ricky's in San Leandro kicking it off again. It's going to be our first

Raider Wil (07:50.905)
So.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (08:18.031)
Black Hole event back home in Ricky's. We have yours, Chole, Lincoln coming out, special guest, signing autograph, taking pictures, meeting and greeting. And I got a little surprise for you, Link. I got a little cigar vendor coming through, gonna be setting up for us. Yes, sir. yeah, yeah. Yes, sir. Yes. Yeah, yeah, we're bringing back our old tailgate.

Lincoln Kennedy (08:34.311)
you're sticking to my heart, huh? You're sticking to my heart. I think I gotta get a stick in. You already know, you already know. It's all good. I'm looking forward to it, man. I really am.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (08:47.32)
DJ bumping betto and obviously our sponsor Modelo is going to be in the house, you know, so mad, it's going to be a great party, great event. And, you know, can't wait to see everybody. And, you know, it's just going to be, it's going to feel like home again.

Lincoln Kennedy (08:49.447)
Nice.

Lincoln Kennedy (08:53.543)
Ready, go.

Raider Wil (09:05.995)
I can't wait. Hey, Cisco, so let me ask you this question, How important is it to keep Raider Nation culture alive in the Bay, especially after the teams moved to Las Vegas?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (09:18.701)
Man, it means everything. If it wasn't for me wanting to come back, I was hearing things, seeing things. it actually, I won't say it broke my heart, but man, felt like, man, it's Oakland, it's the Bay Area. Like Lincoln said, we're worldwide. It's like, why is it fluttering out? I'm not seeing anybody posting pictures, hosting events, anything like that. And I was just like, wow, you know what?

So part of me moving back, was on my agenda. It was probably number three on my agenda is connect with Raymond, the new owner, co-owner of Ricky's and talk to a few people. As you know, Lincoln, Wayne DeBoe, Oakland Raider Booster Club, he's on board. Talk to a few others that are happy that I'm bringing it back and they can't wait to jump on board.

And as well as you mentioned earlier, before we jumped on, I renamed the chapter Bay Area because I want to encompass the Bay Area. And if we start kicking this off and other cities in the Bay Area want to launch chapters, then we'll start dividing it up like that. But right now I just wanted to encompass the whole Bay Area and get everybody together and let's make this live again. It's home.

Raider Wil (10:45.067)
Absolutely. Lincoln, what inspired you to become part of this? Be like, hey, Cisco, I want to be a part of this. want to come out there, meet the fans, take pictures, and be part of bringing back the Raiders to Ricky's.

Lincoln Kennedy (11:01.191)
I have always had an affinity towards the Bay Area, towards Oakland. Ever since I first came here, I've been messing with night shift. And I was sad to see the team go. I understand the business side of it. I get it. It's business. And it has to run like the business. I also see the fight that has happened to Oakland specifically. And the sort of downfall, if you will, of what it used to be. Oakland has always been

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (11:22.721)
Yes.

Lincoln Kennedy (11:29.447)
I'm the blue collar man. I'm the blue man. I've always been that way. As an office woman, that's what I do. Okay, I'm a worker. So I'm not trying to have no set of elitism or anything like that. But what inspired me to come back and do this was one, I was glad to hear Ricky's was reopened because I was sad to see it go. So many things have lost, been lost since the teen left. Look at Oakland has transpired, now losing the A's and everything else. Oakland has really lost its identity.

I knew it was going to happen when the Warriors started, when they moved over to San Francisco, obviously, because it's opportunity for them to make more money. Again, it's a fit. It comes down to business. can't get, as Mark Davis tried to do so hard, and Al Davis, probably still alive, maybe rest in peace, tried to do so hard, was get the stadium rebuilt to a company. Because it was said that we were one of the great, we are one of the greatest sports franchises in sports history, American sports history. And we had to share a field with the baseball team.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (12:17.504)
Yeah.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (12:26.081)
sure.

Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (12:29.479)
I looked around the league and I saw places like Atlanta, who actually won, shit, excuse my language, it hasn't won anything, they got two new savings. And we couldn't get one. You know what mean? So it was things like that that really put a hole in my heart, if will. And so when I was contacted by the guys in Cisco and K-Shed and those guys, and they said, hey look, we're just running something on the open again, I want to know if you can get out. What you guys did was open up my counters, when can we do that? And when can you make it happen?

Raider Wil (12:29.891)
Yeah.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (12:38.998)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (12:58.983)
And I know it's only going to be a small few that come out, but to me it's reminiscent of the old days when I used to make appearances, like before games or during the weeks and stuff like that. It's reminiscent of the old times. See, it's some of the old days. Now we're all older. We all got responsibilities. Some of us got grandkids when we were back. So times have changed and we've moved on. But you know, one thing that we love and one thing that we all share are a true genuine pride.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (13:06.88)
Yep.

Lincoln Kennedy (13:26.757)
is that brand that you guys wear on your hat and on your chest is so very nice. That's an impact. That's a powerful brand and I'm glad to be a part of it. And that's my bird in the background. sorry I'll just make a little bit of notice of the topic. But I have a bird in my office because there's a storm outside. to bring him inside. So please excuse the extracurricular sounds that he's making.

Raider Wil (13:49.753)
It's alright, not a big deal.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (13:50.047)
Well, don't feel bad. I got, I'm surprised Otto's not peeking over my shoulder. I got my dog in the back. I'm about to take him for a walk, yeah. Yeah. But again, Hey, know how we roll, Link? You know how we roll. Yeah. But again, man, I'm excited. I'm excited for what we're doing out here in the Bay area. And again, you know, it's not me, my, myself. I got a solid team with bartender Danny, Akeem, you know, Raider Man.

Lincoln Kennedy (13:57.187)
Hahaha

Look at you, so still multitasking as I am. That's all right.

That's exactly right. That's right.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (14:19.646)
And again, the Raider Nation, Black Hole family here in the Bay. Obviously this is where the Black Hole started and got tremendous support here from the people that are still here. Still rocking the silver and black and still proud to say they're Raider fans and we're gonna make it happen. And like I said, man, looking forward to it and I can't thank seven two enough for coming out, man. It's gonna be a good time, be a good time.

Lincoln Kennedy (14:45.255)
It really is my pleasure, brother.

Raider Wil (14:47.681)
Yes sir, yes sir. And hey Cisco, let me ask you this. What is so special about Ricky's and what's your favorite moment at Ricky's brother?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (15:00.914)
Wow, you know, it's, there's been a lot, man. You know, I was there for all, all three seasons, A's, Warriors, and of course Raiders. I can't pinpoint it to say one particular time at Ricky's, but because they all were great, you know, just the camaraderie, like, you know, what, like Lincoln talked about, you know, just seeing everybody, hanging out with everybody, you know, talking about the game.

you know, talking about what they saw, who they hung out with, you know, I still, sent it to JT the brick, man. was my son. You know what? I'll say that because it was my son. It was my son, first time taking him to Ricky's and for a Raider event, mind you. And JT was there and I go, man, there's my buddy JT. And he knew who JT was because we had listened to him on the radio and whatnot. And he like, like he was meeting.

you know, Rocky Balboa or something, you know, he was so excited like, what? That's JT? I said, yeah. So I brought him over there and he was like, I go, I go, Pop, this is JT the Brick. JT is my son, Adrian. And man, he was just all like, huh? Like, like he was a little boy seeing Santa Claus, you know what I mean? It was exciting. So to, to, to reverse a little bit that I would say that was my, my, greatest time at Ricky's was the seeing my son lit up.

to meet JT The Brick.

Raider Wil (16:30.341)
Alright, we have a question out here from Raider dad. I'm going to ask Lincoln because it's a really good question. It says Lincoln. You've watched Raider Nation through a few generations. What does it mean to see others carrying on the Raider way and creating opportunities for kids to experience Raider Nation?

Lincoln Kennedy (16:35.079)
You get back to

Lincoln Kennedy (16:49.767)
Well, that's big coming from Raider Dad because part of his program has always been to help the experience of seeing a Raider game. And so I know that personally, I haven't had a chance to meet with him and to him. But the thing is is that we've lived long enough to see a huge transition in the way sports are watched and appreciated. Within that transition,

One thing that I can definitely hold on to and say that's true is I appreciate the fact that generationally, the idea of being a rager fan has been handed down. I'll tell you a quick story. A years ago, I about family stories, I about say I had a several on my side. I my son was probably about six or seven. Anyway, long story short, we're in the car, we're driving, and his brother is in the back seat of the van.

and we're all in the car and we're talking football. And so my kids didn't get a chance to see me play because I'm already off the field. Hey, hey, hey, hey, stop. I'm talking. Anyway. They didn't get a chance to see me play on the but they knew it. I mean, I've got my shrine, one of my office right now, but that's why I got my shrine going on. So they know what I did. There's been no secret to what I achieved. But anyway.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (17:55.654)
Ha ha ha.

Lincoln Kennedy (18:10.311)
My son Sevan was in the car, we were talking about favorite teams, favorite colors and stuff like that. My son Sevan said, at the time he said, I like the Raiders. I I like the Buccaneers because they're a pirate. Now mind you, was born after Super Bowl, right? So I immediately stopped over at the car, pulled over at the car, looked behind him and said, out. He's like seven years old. I said, get out my car. His eyes got all big. I said, get out of my car.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (18:24.887)
Ha

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (18:30.613)
You

You

Lincoln Kennedy (18:39.291)
I said, first of all, Raiders are a pirate too. We don't like the Buffy ears. We don't like anybody else. If you do not believe children are black, you cannot be a part of the family. That's the respect I have witnessed handed down generation after generation after generation. That's what I appreciate. You see what saying? That's the beautiful thing about the nation. And it doesn't matter what generation you call it. Like Sissel talks about the other son with the affinity to take teeth. You know, I appreciate it.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (18:48.204)
Mmm.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (18:54.424)
yeah. yeah.

Raider Wil (18:55.009)
Yes, sir, love it.

Lincoln Kennedy (19:07.879)
When young kids come up to me and say, I know you watch. My dad watches, my mom watches, whatever. I know you watch. That's heartwarming to me. I mean, that really is. And so that's what I appreciate the most about being a part of this family because I think of it as a family. No matter where we go, no matter where we play, there is a turnout of Raider fans. 2016, I watched Raider Nation take over the city of New Orleans.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (19:11.307)
Yeah.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (19:17.886)
I bet.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (19:25.77)
It is.

Lincoln Kennedy (19:35.463)
2015 I watched Raider Nation take over London. You see what saying? So I've seen it all. I've been all around the world and every time I did for a Raider event, the Raiders have been well represented. Not so much by the team. Definitely by a fan.

Raider Wil (19:35.875)
Yes, sir.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (19:50.015)
yeah.

Raider Wil (19:51.393)
Yes, All right, we got we got some more questions coming in real quick. We'll get these answered real quick and says, how do you feel about the state of the Raiders after the moves we have made this offseason? This is by Matty B.

Lincoln Kennedy (19:55.942)
Okay.

Lincoln Kennedy (20:06.855)
Well, I tell you what, it's a question. I think the team is looking up. It's looking promising. But if you know me, you can listen to me. And anytime I talk and say anything, I say, I don't care. How's the digital paper? What you put on the field? So I mean, you've got to go out and show me. You've got to show me that you can do it. Right now, unfortunately, the Raiders at the bottom of the division looking up. And we talked about it on the other Raider podcast I did this morning with Q and Chantelle. We're looking up.

Because last year we got swept by all the teams in the state. Nobody's answering the buzz about it. You're only as good as your last product. So, with the changes that have been made, with Pete Carroll coming in, with, you know, Kelly being the sign office coordinator, with the players drafted, the acquisitions of the pre-agency. Yes, we lost some. Robert Slay, Nate House, named a few of the good players I thought that we would try to hold onto because of But we also have got some good players in. And so I'm excited.

Raider Wil (20:39.769)
Yes.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (20:43.831)
Exactly.

Lincoln Kennedy (21:04.069)
about the upcoming season. Here's one thing that you guys know that I don't know. I don't know. I put an emphasis on preseason. Half the time you don't play your players and half the time don't get the damn idea right. And then the other time is what are you going to do in a regular season? You've got to show me something. So there's still some pieces that have to be in place. I'm excited about the season. I'm excited about the possibilities. But at the same point, it's a wait and see moment.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (21:30.39)
Yeah. Yeah. I say just like that Lincoln and speaking of that, like you said in pre preseason, correct me if I'm wrong, but the season that we went to the Superbowl, you took us to the Superbowl. You were part of that team. Didn't we go on four in the preseason?

Raider Wil (21:31.257)
Okay.

Lincoln Kennedy (21:46.439)
don't remember that stat. I can barely remember yesterday. yeah, I don't know that. But I will say this. Look, I played for coaches that coached Barry Vanellis. And if I'm trying to remember how Gruden did it, because I played mostly under Gruden, I think he was very generic and basal. And his philosophy also to be offensive, which I'm not surprised. The only thing I was a part of, and the only thing I was proud of doing is that whenever Rich Yan was on the field, I needed to be on the field. I didn't care where it was.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (21:50.026)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (22:15.975)
I needed to be on the field. needed to protect my quarterback. That was my responsibility. But I'm not sure about that. I do know this from that Super Bowl year. I do remember we came off the gate 4-0 and then we lost our next four. So we were at 4-4 at the break and then by that point we had, that's the game we went over to, we went to Denver and Roger Woodson returned that 100 yard touchdown. That completely changed our season round. We didn't lose until we got to the semis.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (22:29.919)
Yeah, yeah.

Raider Wil (22:41.6)
And beep.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (22:42.378)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (22:45.67)
We want a tremendous run when you know when those men get.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (22:50.505)
Yeah, yep, I remember that well. Exactly. Love that.

Raider Wil (22:51.609)
I'm Snoop.

Yep. Lincoln, besides the team winning, what is a way that we can bring that culture down to Las Vegas? We all know winning brings culture, but we need something else. What else can that be to change that and to bring that type of culture?

Lincoln Kennedy (23:10.215)
It's a question. It's a complex question and there's no easy way to answer it.

Lincoln Kennedy (23:20.327)
There's not one way. The thing is that the Raider Nation has to continue to support. Because I know from the organization's standpoint, we truly appreciate what you've got to to the table. It's hard to show that when you have the results on what you had. And I've often told my partner Jason Horowitz on there, when he's talking about the amount of different jerseys been staying, the got to win. They got to win. The team has got to do their part.

Once the team does their part, I know the nation will come back. I know the nation will show up. But it's also amount, it goes back to what we talked about earlier, being blue collar. Vegas is expensive. I'm not trying to deter anybody from going, but Vegas is expensive. And when you talk about how much it costs to buy, to travel, hotel, tickets, food, this is not an easy answer. You see what I'm saying? This is not, let's just do it. Let's put it on a credit card.

Raider Wil (24:03.182)
Yeah.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (24:13.874)
Mm-hmm.

Lincoln Kennedy (24:16.263)
I don't want anybody to go and object to the loss of every game. You know what saying? So that's why I say it's a complex question to answer. And it's not just one thing. But I do feel this. I think if the team were able to create more wins and have more wins, create that home-field advantage that we had in Oakland. Because we won games in Oakland. You see what I'm saying? I really want to come back. When people want to come back, they want to see a winner. If you want to spend their hard earned money, they want to see a winner. The team has got to do their part.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (24:19.507)
Right.

Lincoln Kennedy (24:45.383)
to get to that stage, it's going to be a coming, slim taking. Look, still, and Cisto knows this because he lived it for a while, there's still a handful of ready-to-make-suprised and hardcore that do their diligence and come out and support the team. But even in their eyes, I can see the frustration because it's like, dude, this getting up. This is hard. I've got to work, I work hard, I want to celebrate, I want to come and be physical. So the team's about to get far.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (25:10.654)
Yep. Exactly.

Raider Wil (25:13.561)
Okay, sir. I mean, I 100 % agree with that. mean, like us winning us being a part of something positive changes a lot of things, Cisco. What do you think we can do as a fan base? Because I feel like as a fan base, we always expect us to go from zero to 100. You know, there's no wait, nobody wants to, hey, one draft pick is going to change the whole team. And we're going to the Super Bowl.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (25:40.893)
Yeah.

Raider Wil (25:42.209)
I'll be like, we hear it every year. What can we do as a fan base to be like, hey, man, we need to get through this process and things like that in your opinion.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (25:54.878)
It's the unity, know, Lincoln Touchstone, we're worldwide. I mean, I've said this before to you on one of our shows. I remember being vacationing in Tulum, Mexico, and we were in the dining area. And this guy just screamed out Raiders, because he saw my Raider hat. And he comes over, and he's from Iowa. He's like, hey, man, are you from Oakland? I'm like, well, I'm from San Francisco, but yeah, yeah, I'm a Raider fan. go, yeah.

And he had on some Raider board shorts and he was like from Ohio or something like that. And, you know, it's just that, that love when you see that silver and black, whether it's a hat, a hoodie, shirt, whatever, we all get, get a little giddy inside, but that's one of us. That guy or that girl, they're one of us. And it just, it's a good feeling inside basically. So.

I think that as a community, you know, we're bigger than a community, but just showing that love, like what Rob used to say, you know, the Aloha spirit, you can come to our tailgate, come with a positive attitude, wear black and your family. So Raider Nation knows we're all family. So as long as that continues to grow, it's going to last forever until the, for the Raiders existence is how I look at it.

Raider Wil (27:23.217)
Absolutely. Hey man, I'd be like, basketball is real simple as I'm like, be patient, have a coach come in, see the guys that they bring in and see them grow, have them develop and see what they do. I'd be like, we're too impatient as Raider Nation when we come in and say, hey, we're to come in and we're going to go to the Super Bowl. We're going to do this. It says patience members. This team needs to gel. It'll take a few more years, but spy taking care of.

have this team going in the right direction. This coming from Captain Jack. So guys, be patient out there. If you guys know Captain Jack, he's not the most patient guy, but he's telling you guys to be patient. Lincoln, here's a question for you. It says, what's your favorite memory as a Raider on the field? This is coming from the Predator.

Lincoln Kennedy (27:54.727)
and

Lincoln Kennedy (27:58.694)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (28:12.438)
man, what a good time.

You know, it's hard for me to just pinpoint one because there's so many fond memories of my days playing with the Raiders. I will say this, think Cisco's marketing of the event reminded me of one fond memory. After we the AFC Championship against the Titans, hoisting up the AFC trophy, the Lamar Hunt trophy, and skating in front of the fans.

and carrying it around the stadium as I'm high-fiving and stuff like that and shaking hands and talking about physicality. I realized that we were on a big suit box, to bring it to come true. That moment in time, because it was an unbelievably physical game, it was truly a physical game. I had never been so tired after a football game than I was after that. And so relieved that the fact that we were finally found a way to win. For me, it was like,

was like Christmas all wrapped up in one point because I'm going to play the Super Bowl in my hometown, San Diego.

Lincoln Kennedy (29:23.983)
whoa. Never thought that was going to happen. And it came towards the end of my career because guys, be honest with you, and I told this only a few times, if we had won that game, I was going to retire after that. I was physically and mentally burnt out. I was tired at the beginning. And I was ready to roll off in the sunset. And I said, you know what? This will be a dream come true. If I could finish my career at this stadium, like Alton Murph, Jack Murphy Stadium, if I could finish it at that stadium and win a Super Bowl,

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (29:36.222)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (29:52.409)
And once that trophy I would run off in the sunset and be an athlete. Didn't happen, obviously. And we made a choice collectively to come back and try the next season. The next season was a disaster. And so on the heels of that, I ran out of gas. I talked to Mr. Davis shortly after that when I realized the severity of my injury, the last injury that entered my career. I said, with all due respect, I just don't have it anymore. And I've needed the.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (30:00.399)
Thank

Lincoln Kennedy (30:19.431)
I need the organization with all due respect, I need the organization to find a way to move on, get somebody else to replace me. Because there's going to be a hole. And that right off the line, the right side of the hole puts you on. And that's what it was. So I think that's to speak on one of my fondest memories. But this has been so many. I could remember when we were playing against the Chiefs, and it was a night game. I don't know if it was a Thursday night game or Sunday night game. But it was raining cats and dogs.

We were smashing them we were moving oh my

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (30:49.804)
yeah. yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's.

Raider Wil (30:54.061)
Mm-hmm.

Raider Wil (31:05.443)
man.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (31:05.858)
Yeah, that one's mine. That one is mine. When we won the AFC championship at home, man, that was it for me. I was like, wow. It was truly amazing. I mean, we had LL Cool Jizz, a halftime show, rocking the half white, black Raider jersey. It was just a great day, man. It was a great day from beginning to end. It was a great day.

Lincoln Kennedy (31:27.751)
And just to add a little caveat to it, for the most part, when I was talking with some of the older fans of the Nation, they felt that they were gypped when the team moved from the other one down to LA and wanted to talk super. Because I knew, we took our team, they were here, you know what mean? So they felt a little bit slighted coming back and being able to put the smile on those faces. And I didn't care, whatever the record was during that time, we showed that knowledge. People were, mean, talked, Siskel talked about the tailgate.

It's both to look at the tailgate and see that no matter rain or shine, win or loss, Raider Nation is coming to show them support their team. And that's what I love about the Nation.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (32:07.019)
Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if I shared this with you, Will and Lincoln. I don't know if you know this or not. Um, there was that one time that the LA Raiders played at the Coliseum. It was a preseason game versus the Houston Oilers. That's how far back it was. The Houston Oilers. We ended up losing that game, but somebody had spray painted a Raiders shield on the, on the floor, on the asphalt and the parking lot. And

Raider Wil (32:08.949)
Yes.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (32:36.523)
people like the locker room. People were walking around it. People were driving around it. They weren't walking on it. They weren't driving on it. Nothing. That's how much respect, you know, we look at that shield as like it's the American flag. You know what I mean? It's, you know, it's crazy. It's crazy.

Lincoln Kennedy (32:57.991)
way it is the locker room when they give them two tours of their legion. cannot walk on the shield. The shield is rolled off. You cannot walk on the shield. You gotta show respect to science. So yeah, it's precious to me.

Raider Wil (32:58.24)
No, absolutely.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:04.811)
That's, yep, that's sacred grounds.

Nope.

Raider Wil (33:12.601)
wait, here we go. Captain Jack says 1989 Cisco.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:19.358)
Yeah, 1989. Yep.

Raider Wil (33:21.977)
So. So.

Lincoln Kennedy (33:23.055)
I was showing college.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:25.716)
Yeah, I just graduated.

Lincoln Kennedy (33:30.119)
You

Raider Wil (33:31.897)
Lincoln, know, everybody's talking. Go ahead. Hey, Lincoln. after.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:32.947)
That's right.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:36.488)
No, I was just going to say that's right. always forget that me, Kenny and Lincoln were all the same age.

Lincoln Kennedy (33:41.895)
That's right. I graduated in 1988. first year in college in 1988.

Raider Wil (33:42.732)
shit.

And we ain't gonna give those numbers out guys. Yeah, mean 23 23 35

Lincoln Kennedy (33:48.551)
It's all good. Hey, I don't mind. I don't mind. I'm still rocking the 30 kills so someone tells me differently, all right?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (33:49.162)
you

Raider Wil (33:55.391)
I got you. Ain't no braids coming in just yet. Ain't no braids coming in just yet.

Lincoln Kennedy (33:58.635)
Not over here. Some in here, but I can shave those. It's all good.

Raider Wil (34:03.669)
Absolutely. So Lincoln, let me ask you this, man. Everybody always talks about the quarterbacks, wide receivers, everything like that. But I like to talk about the big sexies up front, big war daddies that make it happen. I'll be like, everybody knows if you're online, if your dudes up there ain't moving people, if they ain't blocking people, it don't matter who we got lined up in the back. We ain't doing nothing. So Lincoln, what is your thoughts or evaluation?

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (34:03.721)
Yeah.

Lincoln Kennedy (34:14.641)
Huh.

Raider Wil (34:33.621)
of this year's squad upfront.

Lincoln Kennedy (34:36.903)
The office of mine is incredibly thin. They've got to figure out a way to get cold milk the time and ask who would need him. But I will say this, it's a work in progress. And it's something that I've called out for many years and I think they've achieved it and paid attention and it brings some guys in, but there's not a lot of debt there. So that's going to be critical going forward. Again, and here's another thing, and I've seen many

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (34:43.88)
That's right.

Lincoln Kennedy (35:03.847)
matches and different combinations of guys and stuff like that. Here's another thing. You've to figure out who your starting five are and play them together. Not pieces here, pieces there. It doesn't work. Offensive linemen are based on consistency and a lot of non-verbal communication. My guard next to me needs to know how I'm going to a tandem block or a double team or something like that without me having to say it.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (35:12.456)
Right

Raider Wil (35:28.217)
Mm-hmm.

Lincoln Kennedy (35:33.147)
We practice it, we practice it together, and we work it together again. Game speed is different than practice speed. You're never going to be able to duplicate game speed in practice. So I need to see how he does at full speed. Same as my center. My little left guard, my little left tackle. I need to see how we do unanimously together at one time. Both of us need to have one. know, I'll touch the line that I told my sons because I let two sons of play this game. I told both of my sons, look.

You're playing a position that doesn't get a lot of glamour, doesn't get a lot of glory, but the reward and the satisfaction is knowing that one, your team won, and two, you your job effectively. That's where your gratification comes from. You're not gonna get a bunch of praise. It's not that you're missing, but you can make money off You can make money off of it, just like any other position. The girls are there. You know what saying?

Raider Wil (36:28.131)
Yeah

Lincoln Kennedy (36:29.735)
So you might not be on the nightly news every night, or you might not be talked about in the paper, but I took great pride and satisfaction when I'm looking at those rushing yards, and she's had a wee rush for 247 yards in this month. So we beat the charges down 36 to 90. You see what I'm saying? I take personal pride in that. And that's where all-frenching wine plays. You gotta take pride in just looking people's asses.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (36:53.809)
Love it.

Raider Wil (36:56.033)
Yes, yes, yes, you need to be nasty.

Lincoln Kennedy (37:00.167)
That's right. Without a doubt.

Raider Wil (37:05.016)
So Cisco, Lincoln, let's bring up the event one more time. So that way I know that Lincoln has places to go, people to see. Guys, July the 12th, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. San Leandro, wake up, baby, because Lincoln Kennedy, TBH is linking up and we are bringing the Raiders back, baby, to Ricky's. So.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (37:31.408)
That's it.

Raider Wil (37:31.693)
Yo, see a bunch of people in the chat, a bunch of people everywhere. Make sure that you guys are letting people know and bring them up and let brother Cisco know. And you guys will see big seven two out there, baby represented. So, yo Cisco, let them know, baby.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (37:46.862)
Yes, And one key thing, is free admission, free admission. You know, I might get a couple of five dollars here and there to walk up and take a picture with Lincoln, you know, on the side note. No, I'm just playing now, but it's absolutely free. Welcome. Just like I said, just like our tailgate, wear black, come with a positive attitude and we're going to make Ricky's one happy family that night, man. We're going to we're to have some fun, smoking some guards, listening to some good music.

Lincoln Kennedy (38:01.735)
That was good, buddy.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (38:15.822)
some ice cold modellos, cocktails, what more could you ask?

Raider Wil (38:21.997)
Yes, sir. Lincoln, anything for you from you for Raider Nation?

Lincoln Kennedy (38:22.177)
I love it.

Lincoln Kennedy (38:28.455)
Look, Radiation, it has been a trying time, and I'm saying this directly to you and all the people that hear my voice. It has been a trying time for the organization, the players, the fans. I get it. Trust me, I get it. And I'm right here with you. I understand that patience is a quality that is a virtue. Not everybody has Because well, that's, know, every year when the draft comes out, I see it all around the league where everybody thinks that player's going to put them over the top. It doesn't work that way. It takes a little bit more time, a little bit more chemistry than that.

I do think they're headed in the right direction and I'm proud of the organization. Proud to be a part of the fan base as you are as well as being a part of the organization. my salute to you is just keep the pride, keep the love, keep coming back and keep supporting this team. We'll figure it out, I promise.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (39:14.872)
Yep. Awesome.

Raider Wil (39:15.417)
Yes, hold on, Cisco. We have Rachel in here. She says Black Hole for Life, a special salute to Rachel Rivera out there, Black Hole Rob's wife. And we cannot wait to see you out there at the event. She's out there supporting the Black Hole still, baby. So, guys, get out there. Meet Rachel, meet Lincoln. See Cisco. We can't wait. Raider Nation.

Lincoln Kennedy (39:28.945)
Right.

Raider Wil (39:43.671)
It's all about one nation. It's all about one team. It's. You already heard from Lincoln, baby. It's all about the. Raiders.

Lincoln Kennedy (39:46.023)
There is only one nation.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (39:49.156)
Thank

and the Raider Nation.

Lincoln Kennedy (39:54.949)
Raider Nation. There's one love, one pride, one people, one nation. Raider Nation.

BLACK HOLE CISCO KID (40:01.314)
Yep. Yep. All right. Thank you once again.

Raider Wil (40:06.297)
Alright
